Mary Henthorn - Senior Analyst, Arkansas Department of Information Systems

Mary Henthorn serves as a Senior IT Security Analyst for the Arkansas Department of Information Systems (DIS). She and her staff are responsible for the Arkansas Continuity of Operations Program; DIS continuity and disaster recovery planning, testing, and contract maintenance; security awareness training; and, physical security. Her security research activities have included cross-site request forgery, botnets, biometrics, virtual private networks, internet filtering, server based computing, web based services, directory replication, firewalls, secure authentication, and disk cleaning. Mary holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in computer science from UALR and is an active member of InfraGard and the Multi-State Information Sharing and Analysis Center. Before coming to DIS, Mary worked in IT positions for the Arkansas Public Service Commission, the US Department of Agriculture, and the National Park Service.
