The Information Technology Research Institute will co-host the 6th Annual Information Technology Day for Students with the Information Systems Department.  The event is part of our grass roots efforts to increase the number of students graduating with an information systems degree and will take place on  Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. 

Northwest Arkansas high school students are invited to the campus to hear about opportunities in the field of information technology.  Last year's event brought a record amount of students to campus (approximately 500); the ITRI hopes this event continues to grow. Our board member companies participate by showcasing display booths and  technology demonstrations.  These demonstrations show how the technology is being used in their companies, and it is eye catching and interesting to high school students.
