Kelly Zega Director of Public Affairs—Cox Communications Kansas/Arkansas

Kelly Zega, a northwest Arkansas native, is responsible for directing all Arkansas-based partnerships between Cox Communications and area schools, non-profits and community agencies aligned with a mission of serving youth, education and technology.  She also serves as the media relations spokesperson for Cox Communications, overseeing external communication about the company’s products and services, as well as its role as a corporate community partner.

Prior to joining Cox Communications, Kelly managed advertising, internal and external communication, and the national Tyson Leadership Network for the Tyson Food Service Marketing Division.  She served three years as the Director of Development for the North Arkansas Symphony, responsible for the fundraising and promotion of the professional symphony orchestra concert season and educational outreach youth programs.  Kelly worked for a decade at the University of Arkansas in the areas of academic recruitment, marketing publication development, oversight of the Arkansas Alumni Association’s nation-wide chapter program, and as the business manager for Arkansas magazine.

In her personal time, Kelly and her family are particularly involved with issues surrounding families with missing children, working with the National Center of Missing & Exploited Children’s “Team Hope” program and the Morgan Nick Foundation.
