The Information Technology Research Institute will advance the state of research and practice in the development and use of information technology for enhancing the performance of individuals and organizations, provide a forum for multi-disciplinary work on issues related to information technology, promote student interest in the study of information technology, and facilitate the exchange of information between the academic and business communities.

  • Summer Program Introduces High School Students to Information Technology
    A one-week program introducing minority students in grades 10-12 to the cutting-edge field of information technology will be held in July 8-13 at the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas.
  • Business Analytics Certificate Course Being Offered
    The Information Technology Research Institute and the Center for Management and Executive Education are offering a business analytics certificate course for those interested in improving their skills in data collection, access and interpretation.
  • Walton College to Launch Entrepreneurship Program in Panama
    The Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas, with the help of the Arkansas World Trade Center and in collaboration with a governmental agency in Panama, is launching a program to instruct Panamanian entrepreneurs in the techniques of starting a successful business.
